Mission Statement
The Auxiliary of the Pequonnock Yacht Club was formed to enable member spouses, relatives, and significant others to actively participate in assisting the club in its principles of maintaining a strong commitment to all forms of boating both in the club and community.
The Auxiliary functions as an independent entity with its own By-Laws and supports PYC by hosting fun-filled events and raffles for all members and guests to enjoy while raising much needed funds for the club. Activities organized by the Auxiliary include the PYC Annual Children’s Christmas Party, Paint Parties, Bingo, Race Night, and Movie Night, as well as heavy involvement in supporting all PYC events. Purchases of dock carts, picnic tables, gas grills, an ice machine, microwave with cart, flag dowels, and the huge PYC emblem hanging on the Fireplace are a few examples of how the Auxiliary events has been able to assist the club.
